Qualcomm Life to be seen at Mobile World Congress

At the ECHAlliance (European Connected Health Alliance) mobile health technologies including wearables, vital sign sensors and applications will be showcased. These technologies have the potential to improve care models significantly. The ECHAlliance announced that on March 3 – 4 2nd Health and Wellness @ Mobile World Congress will be held in Barcelona. The event will see speakers from Jawbone, Orange, Telefonica, Qualcomm Life and Huawei along with other speakers discussing the innovation in the field of mobile health solutions. The event is aimed at bringing out solutions for transforming the face of healthcare. The major issues to be discussed include mHealth regulations, its impact on our health and behaviour, diagnosis of diseases, data privacy and healthy living. To top it all the congress will showcase latest mobile health technologies.

ECHAlliance chairman – Brian O’ Connor said that this agenda aims at giving an insight into various new mobile health technologies and would provide as a great opportunity to gain knowledge from leaders of the healthcare industry from Europe, South America, China and USA and experience latest innovations. The Mobile Health programme at MWC will once be hosted by ECHAlliance at Fira Gran hall. Around 85000 people are expected to attend the event. The wearables and the Internet of Things are the most promising technologies in healthcare field. Leaders who will be presenting this programme include Business Development Director, Adidas – Eric White, Head of international Partner, Jawbone – Jorgen Nording, Senior Vice president – rick Valencia.

Apart from all the innovative solutions, the problems and challenges faced by healthcare throughout the world  with respect to employment, innovation and economic conditions. A session will be conducted especially for discussing about market in Europe, USA, South America and China. This round up involving 4 major markets – “Connected Health around the World in 60 mins” will focus on opportunities in healthcare markets.
