GSMA MWC 2015: Secure Communication App (SecApp)

Finnish Hospitals Using Secure Cloud And Mobile Based Communication System – SecApp (Secure Communication App) To Save The Lives.

There comes times when there are loads of epidemic disease patients, traffic injures and much more other threatening injuries among the health care staff and they start struggling ensure that adequate medical staff is present 24/7 to take care the patients. SecApp facilitates them in managing the tasks with single click like assigning duties to the relevant personnel at required rooms and wards.

Secure Communication App (SecApp)

SecApp (Secure Communication App) is the cloud and mobile based communication system together with management system which is developed for professional usage. It allows the users in defining the procedures, messages, operations and the alert for each inclined situation. SecApp quickly allows the distribution of those procedures, alerts etc to the groups, individuals or even to the certain locations through various delivery channels also covering up the legacy devices. As all the information is encrypted and secure you can confidently communicate with SecApp.

The Communication Manager, Sami Haapamäki, of Kuopio University Hospital says that the usability and the reliability of SecApp are the primary factors to use it in managing the medical care personnel. Over 90 percent time saving has been provided by the SecApp, as compared to the traditional phone calls and separately handled emails, in alerting the people when needed. Jaana Kuula, the project manager from the University tells that she has traveled internationally and have seen multiple solutions but it is truely said that the SecApp is one of the most advanced systems in the world currently.

Initially, the SecApp has been created in a collaborative project between the Magister Solutions Ltd. and the University of Jyväskylä. This perfectly sets the example of utilizing the unbiased research and development to create a commercially viable product which nowadays SecApp is. The system was tested, during the project, by the Finnish Police, Fire and Rescue Services, some other corporations and the school organizations. Kuula was responsible for the research, development and the system’s testing with the companies and the authorities.

SecApp is the commercial product of, Magister Solutions Ltd, the Finnish company. Magister is liable for developing the satellite, future mobiles and the security technologies, having a number of the satisfied consumers among the biggest operators, vendors and the global private companies.

The list includes Renesas, Nokia, European Space Agency (ESA) and DNA. The main services of the Magister cover the advisory and R & D on the wireless systems, emulator, stimulator and test bed tools for the WiFi, mobile and the satellite systems together with the software development from performance critical systems to the scalable cloud and the mobile services.
