Samsung launches Nike+ Running App

Samsung Electronics has partnered with NIKE Inc., and has launched Nike+ Running App. The App has been introduced for the new Samsung innovation i.e., the Samsung Gear S. The app provides first class service from Nike in connected running experience. Nike+ makes use of the the Gear S’ built – in 3G connectivity and Bluetooth service for bringing best running experience to the users of Gear S. Nike+ Running App is the newest addition to the portfolio of Samsung Gear. What makes Gear S a perfect fitness companion is its fit ergonomics, multi – sensors, IP67 and GPS. What makes it more fun to use is the Nike+ Running App. It makes running a fun activity by allowing users to keep track of their run, goals and sharing on social media right on their wrist.

The Gear S will come preloaded with the app. Carrying a phone during morning run has always been an irritation. So now you can leave your phone at home and still be able to track your runs. While you are in a workout, the app gives you a quick glance of various metrics such as your heart rate, pace, distance, time and the earned NikeFuel. The app has its own music player that allows you select your track without taking those extra taps to Samsung music player. You can always check your speed and routes through the built – in GPS. The 3G connection keeps you connected to Facebook friends from whom you can get real – time cheers and stay motivated. With Nike+, people have a different way to connect with sports. It motivates the runner to run often, faster and further by marking their progress. It also enables personalized coaching and allows you to challenge your friends. This integration with Samsung Gear S allows more runners to benefit from this service. The service launched back in 2006, now has recorded a worldwide run of 1 billion miles.
